The carbon footprint of the building industry and its theoretical value
Halama, Miroslav ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
Presented theses dealing with the complex influence of human activity on the environment. Particularly provides the calculation of carbon footprint volume consumed during manufacturing of raw materials used for a normal and a low-energy house. The calculation of the energy performance certificate for both variants is also included. To evaluate of economical demanding investment to both mentioned houses including carbon dioxide disposal, the theoretical calculation of the price of carbon footprint equivalent has to be determined. The aim of this study is an investigation of carbon footprint in construction industry focusing on the production of carbon dioxide during the realization of a normal and low-energy house.
Determination of carbon footprint in relation to the production unit of the budget indicator
Šebestová, Michaela ; Kocourková, Gabriela (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis analyses the possibilities of determining the carbon footprint in relation to the production unit of the budget indicator. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic concepts associated with the carbon footprint and construction industry. The aim of this thesis is to quantify the carbon footprint of construction process, mainly during the production phase, and to compare the carbon footprint of objects of different production technology. The main output is the determination of an average carbon footprint converted to a unit of the budget indicator.
Ecological aspects of construction production
Šebestová, Michaela ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis processes an analysis of ecological load in a building process. In the theoretical part of the thesis the basic concepts of ecology and contruction are described. The most serious ecological problems connected with construction production are identified along with reduction measures of these problems, their possible appreciation and embedding in legislation. The practical part of the thesis deals with the issue of human impact on the environment within the life cycle of construction production. The effects of selected ecological aspects, which could affect the normal price, are discussed. The thesis sets out theoretical calculations for the valuation of harmful emissions, energy and water consumption and waste management.
